If you go to your > Settings (three dots in the top right corner), you will either see "Call recording" or you won't. On EMUI 14 Global builds, that menu item is completely absent. However, Huawei has left a backdoor: Auto-recording for specific contacts is sometimes still available via the Accessibility settings, but this is being phased out.
In regions like California, Canada, Germany, and much of the European Union, it is illegal to record a telephone conversation unless everyone on the line explicitly consents to being recorded.
